In a press release, Samsung announced that it wouldnt be selling any Windows RT devices in Usa, including the ATIV Tab that was announced earlier. ATIV tab was to use Windows RT and ARM processors. Samsung says the demand for such devices are mediocre at best, and the time and effort required to make consumers aware of the benefits would not be worth it.
This is a major blow to Microsoft since samsung is a major manufacturer of mobile devices. Samsung says, if the o/s takes off, they may reconsider.
