Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China is reported to implement a new policy which will mandate that all new built homes in China will have to have a Fiber Optic internet Connection, according to China’s official government newspaper China Daily.
The Ministry states that “…. all newly built residences, if they are located in counties and cities where a public fiber optic telecom network is available, have to be equipped with fiber network connections…..”. Same policy will also allow the residents to choose their ISP.
