Storage and Memory technology giant Kingston Technologies is introducing a whopass 1 TB Flash disk this quarter. The flash drive will be faster than mechanical hard disks at 240 mb/s read and 160 mb/s write rate. Which is slower than SSDs, but still a considerable speed. Kingston disclosed 512 mb version at this year’s CES already, and 1 TB version will be coming in this quarter. The price is yet unknown.
