The venerable memory / storage devices tech giant Kingston is going to introduce 1 terabyte flash drives this quarter. The model will be named “DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0”, and is intended to offer speeds mechanical hard drives cannot offer. Current specs for the device states that it will have 240MB/s read, and 160MB/s write speeds. Which is quite fast, even if it is slower than SSDs. The price is not disclosed however, and is yet to be seen.
