Since iOS 6 was launched a few months ago, Apple gave the decision to not use the maps app from Google called Google Maps. But after a few months missing in iOS, last Thursday (13/12/2012), Google Maps has been available back in the App Store and can be downloaded instantly. And the amazing thing is only in 7 hours, Google Maps has reached the number one position in the Free Apps category on the App Store.
With Google Maps comes back, gives evidence of the rumors that say Google will not make Google Maps for iOS devices. In addition, Apple also apologized to their customers about the Apple Maps application which is expected to replace Google Maps, but in fact actually end up with unsatisfactory. Google Maps for iOS 6 comes with unique features like on android, such as Street View, public transit directions, voice navigation, local transportation information, Google Earth 3D and other interesting features.
